Moulding Expos New Hall Layout will Guide Visitors Better
Moulding Expo, the international trade show for tool, model and mould making, will move from the originally halls to other halls for its third edition in May 2019. The organisers at Messe Stuttgart are convinced that this will make the walking routes for visitors more attractive.
The trade show that will be held from 21 to 24 May 2019 will move from the halls 1, 3 and 5 to halls 3, 5, 7, and 9, Messe Stuttgart announced. Messe Stuttgart is taking advantage of the decision of British organiser UKi Media & Events Ltd. to switch the “Automotive Shows” completely to the southern hemisphere with its simultaneous trade fairs for the automotive supplier industry to optimise the occupancy of the Moulding Expo 2019 exhibition grounds.
By retaining four standard halls in the immediate vicinity of the East and West entrances and using the East entrance area through the newly created “Forum of Plastics Products”, the walking routes for visitors will become even more attractive.
New Layout is Welcomed by Exhibitors
In the course of the new site planning, the organisers of Moulding Expo have also thought about the thematic breakdown. Halls 3 and 5 will probably be filled with tools, model and mould makers, while Halls 7 and 9 will be filled with suppliers to the industry. “We believe that with this constellation we will have a good and logical planning for both exhibitors and visitors,” says Florian Niethammer, Project Manager of Moulding Expo.
Exhibitors from the very beginning, such as FBB Formenbau Buchen GmbH, also take a positive view of the move: “We were already on a brace in 2015 and experienced this as very good in terms of visitor guidance,” reports Managing Director Wolfgang Ehmann. “The fact that Moulding Expo 2019 will once again take place on a brace is very much in line with our interests and is another reason to be there again for the third edition.”
Another change that Messe Stuttgart is implementing for the next edition is the date: Moulding Expo will be moved further away from any public holidays. Due to the time lag between the Whitsun holidays, the parallel “Forum der Kunststoffprodukte” exhibition of the Association of Technical Plastic Products GKV/TecPart and the "Automotive Shows", Messe Stuttgart expects a further significant increase in the number of exhibitors and visitors compared with 2017.
