Climate change, Corona, Tesla - Consequences for Foundries

Due to several influences, the aluminum foundry industry has experienced significant change over the last few years. These influences and connected questions are addressed in this strategy review.

The decline in production figures in the aluminum foundry industry since the fourth quarter of 2018 raise the questions “Where do we stand today?”, “Where can/do we want to go?” and “What do we need to do?”, especially with respect to climate change, Corona and Gigacasting. This strategy review analyses these questions in the context of inside and outside view, today and future.
