AHC Surface Technology and Impreglon merged under the roof of their parent company Aalberts Industries N.V. into one business unit called Aalberts surface treatment. With the merger, both partners will create a global full-service provider of functional surface refinements.

Under the umbrella Aalberts Industries N.V., Aalberts for short, the groups of the two companies AHC Surface Technology and Impreglon will be merged to form the new company with the name Aalberts surface treatment as of 1st January 2019.

Aalberts surface treatment is a leading, innovative and globally active technology provider that supports its customers as a competent partner. Now, we can even better serve the realization of large projects for global key accounts, backed by a strong parent company ", says Michael Preinerstorfer, CEO of Aalberts surface treatment.

Both partners complement each other with regard to their product portfolio and their many years of intensive production expertise. Thus, Aalberts surface treatment offers a broad range of processes to surface finish all sorts of different metal and plastic components. With the applied coating processes, components are protected against corrosion and wear or provided with special properties. Main processes include, besides other, electroless nickel, hard anodizing, polymer and zinc flake coating. Some of them are applied only partially. Production capabilities range from economically efficient coatings of small mass parts to individual solutions for high-tech components. In addition various process chemicals for surface technology are possible.
