Using a so-called "digitization map", experts from MQ Result Consulting visualize the digitization level of companies in industry and trade. To this end, they measure the company's current position in the ongoing digitization process and create a realistic basis for a digitization strategy. Thanks to standardized survey instruments, the project is offered for a flat rate of around € 2,000.

Medium-Sized Companies as a Target Group

The digitization map visualizes the software used, the degree of coverage per main process and the system heterogeneity by means of numbers, fill levels and colors of rectangles. Incoming and outgoing interfaces, manual transfers and integration deficiencies become just as evident as areas with deficient software support.

Many companies develop strategies for the digital transformation of their business processes. However, a realistic determination of the current degree of digitization should precede a target definition. To this end, MQ Result Consulting has defined a range of consulting services for medium-sized companies in industry and trade.

This digitization check is carried out with standardized and automated checklists, which have been scientifically developed and tested in practice. The managers of various departments receive detailed questions about the software used, the interfaces and the consistency of their main processes. On this basis, the experts create a clear "digitization map" of the company which provides an overview of the current digitization degree achieved in all main processes of the company's divisions.

Incoming and outgoing interfaces, manual transfers and integration deficiencies become just as evident as areas with low software support.

Digitization Check in One Day

The conclusive visualization of the status quo can be used to evaluate the software used and assess its degree of integration. It reveals deficiencies in IT coverage and inefficient interfaces. It can be used as a basis for realistic target definitions and as a starting point for digitization strategies. Thanks to the clear visualization of the current digitization level, the solution is suitable as a basis for presentations in project groups or for the company management.

The digitization map is based on the same methods and professional tools MQ Result Consulting uses for the selection and introduction of company software. This means that the digitization map can be used as a starting point for the selection and introduction of company software.

The standard instruments of the map keep the effort of stocktaking to a minimum for all parties involved. After only one consulting day, companies will receive an effective digitization check.
