Hasco Flat Locating Unit Increases Quality of Injection Molded Parts
Editor: Alexander Stark
For precising injection-molded plastic parts a new flat locating unit can exploit the precision potential even better. This can increase the quality of injection molded and die casting parts.
For particularly high demands with regard to the precise production of injection molded parts, centering the tool halves by means of standard guide columns and bushes is often not sufficient, says Hasco. To eliminate this source of defects, the new Hasco flat locating unit Z086/... offers an optimal addition to the proven locating elements. According to the manufacturer, the reason for this precise reinforcement is the tight fit, which enabled reliable and precise centering of injection and die casting tools, especially for flat injection molding applications with small opening widths.
Users who want to manufacture injection molding tools with a particularly high quality are often not satisfied with the guide columns and bushes. The new flat locating unit Z086/... from Hasco, achieves the required precision in the production of parts.

High-Precision, Low-Wear and Space Saving
The space-saving design makes guidance functions in mold separation short and precise. The DLC-coated flat locating unit also has very good slip properties and thus minimizes friction and, consequently, wear and maintenance costs. The Z086/... is characterized not only by a high-precision guidance due to a very tight fit, but also by a short guide which locks very well against transverse forces that could occur. Thanks to the space-saving lateral mounting, the flat locating unit can also be mounted easily.
