Foseco Appoints New Non-Ferrous Sales Manager
Since April 2019 Foseco has had a new Non-Ferrous Sales Manager for the GERMALUX (Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Benelux) market. Philip Schütten succeeds Jens Ohm.
Jens Ohm takes on a new challenge by taking over the new position of Director Non-Ferrous EMEA. In this role, he is responsible for the new non-ferrous objectives and their implementation in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
"In order to further expand our existing know-how and customer service, we have decided to establish a new European EMEA structure in addition to the local unit. The aim is to further expand our business, pool experience and exploit synergy effects," says Heinz Nelissen, Area Director Foundry Northern Europe.
With Philip Schütten, Foseco has found a motivated and competent successor, as he looks back on several years of experience in various foundry areas and knows exactly what customers want from foundry solutions. After successfully completing his studies in metallurgy and materials engineering at RWTH Aachen University, he worked in various foundry areas and was able to gain fundamental experience. Most recently, he worked for almost four years as a sales representative in the non-ferrous sector for the NRW and Netherlands sectors. In 2019 he was trained as a sales manager. After five months as sales manager, the 34-year-old takes stock: "I would like to continue the existing partnership. There are currently many challenges on the market that not only we but also our customers have to face. We have to meet these requirements and changes in order to guarantee the best possible support for our customers. I am looking forward to the new task, which will certainly involve exciting discussions and innovations."
