3D Metal Printing Four Lasers and Mobile Process Monitoring in the SLM Process
At EMO Hannover 2019, Renishaw will be showing news from its AM department. The RenAM 500Q with integrated InfiniAM Central process monitoring will also be on show.
Renishaw's RenAM 500Q works with four 500 W high-power lasers, all of which have simultaneous access to the entire powder bed surface. This results in a significantly higher number of components with significantly better productivity and lower cost per part, the manufacturer explains. The machine is equipped with an automatic powder handling system that enables a continuous construction process, reduces operating time and ensures a high level of system reliability.
InfiniAM Central software was developed by Renishaw for remote process monitoring of AM systems and provides direct access to machine data. This Industry 4.0-enabled, networked system allows remote monitoring of AM building processes on computers and mobile devices, including near real-time insight into live AM parts and access to analyze previous parts. System sensor and component information are displayed graphically for intuitive, in-depth analysis.
