Last week the 10th anniversary of the Environment Day took place in Würzburg, Germany. The Federal Association of the German Foundry Industry (BDG) has been organising the Environment Day since 2012 - initially with two events a year, but always alternating between the conference venues in Düsseldorf and Würzburg.
The German based company Hüttenes-Albertus Chemische Werke GmbH and Garmi del Norte S.A. de C.V. announced a new joint venture to bundle all commercial activities in Mexico in the new corporation named HA Quimica de Mexico (HAMEX).
“Time to market” has long become a major a competitive factor, also in the foundry industry. With the promise of accelerating the pace of innovation and optimizing foundry processes, Huettenes-Albertus opened the HA Center of Competence.
