Trade Fair News Postponement of ANKIROS and TURKCAST
Editor: Nicole Kareta
The organizers of ANKIROS and TURKCAST have decided to postpone the two events. Although the COVID-19 vaccinations carried out around the world are promising, it has become apparent that the amount of vaccine necessary for exhibitors and visitors from a wide area to travel without problems will not be reached until June.
The new date for ANKIROS and TURKAST is from October 6-8, 2022.

ANKIROS and TURKCAST are amongst the most important trade fairs for the metallurgy industry. Since the products and machinery to be exhibited at the two trade fairs ANKIROS and TURKCAST require long transportation times, the decision to postpone the events had to be taken as early as April, according to the organizers. The reason for the postponement is current COVID-19 case numbers, restrictive practices of countries and the majority opinion of various stakeholders.
Originally, ANKIROS and TURKCAST were scheduled for November 2020. The new date from October 6-8, 2022 (which is the regular date of ANKIROS) was set with the demands of the trade show exhibitors, the boards of the industry associations and the common preferences of the international participants. The new date is to be held at the same fairgrounds and in the same halls under the same conditions.
